Friend and I stopped here to eat before a concert, oh my GOD is this place good. Authentic, SO clean, friendly staff and super fast to-go service. And I haven’t even gotten to the food yet. THE FOOD. So delicious. I couldn’t be happier. If I’m ever near this part of town again, first stop here.

Tacos are really good and the service is great. We got there only a short time before closing and were treated as though we were the first at opening. No long faces, no rushing us to eat and go.

The only thing that could possibly make it better is if I lived closer. Tacos are enormous and delicious. Staff is very friendly.

The food is amazing. The definition of authentic Mexican food. Have not been in a while but I will be going this weekend.

Best Mexican restaurant I love this place

We love their carne Asada! In a plate with tortillas or in a taco. Everything tastes awesome 😛! If you don't want pop they sell agua de Jamaica

Best tamales in the area! Always good food. They're always busy from morning to afternoon and the food tastes great. It's a pretty good and authentic Hispanic flavor. Can't be disappointed with the large variety they have there.

Excellent food. Horrible wait time and no separate waiting area so you're basically standing next to people eating at their tables. Awkward.

Great food and large portions for a great price! Especially if you love their tortillas sold in stores. They offer burritos, tacos, quesadillas, tamales and more in a cafeteria style for dine in or to-go. Their Pork Green Chile Plate with fresh tortillas and warm champurrado are so good! They also have sweet and savory tamales for sale by the dozen. Street parking at this location. Also, this place is packed. Be prepared to wait in line to order for 15 minutes but they get your food to you pretty quickly.

Best Tacos I ever had. Always fresh. I miss working next door to them but no matter how far I am, I will travel for these tacos anyday.

The food is great but the Nopales are Thee best.. hands down. I live 2 states away and when back home make it a point to visit. There's also a second ElMilagro in Little Village..

This restaurant is my favorite eatery in Chicago. In the 10 plus years that I have been served there, I have yet to be disappointed in either service or quality of food. The prices cannot be beat. This establishment is the best kept secret to many. Their tamales accompany us when we travel to other states, as we have yet to find local eateries that measure up to El Milagro. This restaurant is appropriately named “The Miracle”.

El Milagro is perhaps one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Chicago. This location and the one on 26th are amazing. You can walk in or call in your order and the food is made pretty quick and is always fresh. I love these taquerias for their service, there's always a friendly voice on the phone and when I go to the restaurant they're always kind. I've had their tacos, tamales and burritos. I will say by far the carne asada burrito con queso y arroz is my favorite. But you can't go wrong with anything on their menu here. They also make our tortillas we buy at the grocery stores.

Tacos de asada with beans and rice with a side of cabbage - amazing combination. These tacos are made to perfection, juicy and tender. Their homemade food has made this restaurant a favorite in the neighborhood and I've had the pleasure of introducing it to many individuals from out of town.

Carne Asada plate is delicious. It comes with healthy portion of steak, rice, beans, cabbage and salsa. I traveled 5 miles to get this treat. It's an authentic and original take on Mexican cuisine.

They accept credit cards but they need to see a photo ID with a matching name.It's a pretty extensive menu. Delicious, cheap, fast. What more do you want? I didn't come here for ambience, top tier customer service, or "great views". I came here for some tasty Mexican food and that's exactly what I got.

A friend grew up in Chicago and swore that this place has real Mexican food. She was absolutely right. Fast service and beautifully done decor. Get there because everyone who lives there probably can attest to the flavors at this Taqueria. They even have options for vegans with loose morals. PS. Their salsa is the bomb.

This is a must to visit place in Chicago. They have all kinds of Mexican food and quick service. It gets very crowded on the weekends.

Food is always great. They have classic Mexican dishes from breakfast to dinner. They sell tamales and guisados by the lb as well. Try the carne asada dinner, or flautas de papá for a meatless option.
